2015 Marketing Trends Predictions: Useful or Not?

So it is November and already I have read my first article on 2015 marketing trends & predictions thanks to Media Bistro. I am sure it is the first of many that will come across my desk from now until the end of the year. While I enjoy reading these, after about the 5th one it all becomes the same message and quite frankly I don’t quite know what to do with them. I start to wonder what information will I garner from these, are they just meaningless?

I start to wonder why the authors of these predictions don’t include any guidance on ‘how to’ do these things? How can I make these predictions actionable? In my gut I know I need to pay attention to these, but somehow they just tend to overwhelm me and I end up finding them useless. This year, I decided why expect the person reporting on the predictions to give me the tools to make these predictions a reality – I need to do that for myself (and my clients).

So, to make these actionable, I have put together a simple ‘how to’ decision chart that you can use to begin executing these marketing predictions. This simple chart can be used by you or someone on your team to understand if these predictions are worth pursuing. Should they be part of your Marketing Strategy Planning?
