Red Bamboo’s Leaves Grow Taller With New Business Development Addition

Red Bank, NJ (December 11, 2015) – Red Bamboo Marketing is pleased to announce and welcome Jeffrey Slifer, who joins the New Business Development team. Slifer is responsible for the development of new business opportunities. He brings with him over ten years of sales experience and exudes both professionalism and vigor.

Prior to joining Red Bamboo, Slifer was the Senior Business Development Manager at Odyssey Services, a cloud messaging company. There, Slifer identified and sold into various verticals, supervised the launch of messaging solutions, and produced recurring revenue.

Alberto Garcia Partner and CFO of Red Bamboo Marketing said, “Jeff is bringing real talent providing customers with sales experience and solutions. Red Bamboo foresees that this will pay dividends for our genuine growth model.”

Much of Slifer’s early career was spent at Gannett’s newspaper, the Asbury Park Press. During his time with the Press, Slifer gained extensive knowledge in expanding product line. Slifer quickly rose up the company ladder and he was appointed to Senior Account Executive. In this position, Slifer successfully lead the newspaper’s new business development team. And in 2008, Slifer was acknowledged and awarded for the highest revenue over goal in magazine sales.

Slifer’s professionalism and exemplary track record for increasing sales revenue for both large and small companies will serve him well in his new role with Red Bamboo.

Slifer stated, “I am not one to sit around. I give 150% in everything I do, which acquired in humility and with hard work, can go a long way. I am eager to put my energy to good use to help strategically grow Red Bamboo Marketing.”

Before entering the world of sales, Slifer excelled in the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the Marines, Slifer achieved rank of Corporal (Non-Commissioned Officer, E-4), he became an infantry squad leader, and he received two Meritorious Mast awards for outstanding leadership.

“Professionalism and empathy is important to me,” Slifer said, “and “I instantly saw both of those things with Red Bamboo’s genuine growth model and philosophy.”

In addition to being a sports fan watching his favorite teams such as the Knicks, Jets or Mets play, Slifer loves reading biographies of influential leaders, and he enjoys spending quality time with his family.
