Communications: Higher Performance from New Hires with 1-t0-1 Onboarding
Challenge:
Building a foundation for NCR’s transformed brand begins with first impressions, so onboarding was a perfect place to start. Making sure that new hires had an engaging portal that was informative and reflected the transformed brand purpose as well as personality was crucial.
Solution:
The team at Red Bamboo, formerly Two River Marketing, worked with NCR to develop a successful onboarding plan utilizing the new hire portal. Working as an extension of the NCR team, we named the onboarding portal (Basecamp), wrote all portal content, named the portal menu/tabs and developed all push/notification content.
Results:
New hires at NCR now receive regular emails and tips throughout the year which help them better adjust to their job and surroundings. In addition, they have access to NCR Base Camp, a site dedicated to educating them on the social and performance aspects of their job.
