Developing Steel Strength Organic Search Foundation

The Wolcott Group, a Microsoft partner, joined with industry experts to develop a top-of-the-line business management system. RealSTEEL™ is a powerful and affordable ERP system that manages the specialized requirements of the steel and metals industry.

Challenge:

Wolcott Group was promoting the RealSTEEL™ solution with direct marketing programs and content development, but they identified Search Engine Optimization – both organic and paid – as an area of high growth for lead generation. They engaged with Red Bamboo Marketing to help develop an inbound marketing strategy and implement its tactics.

Solution:

  • Create a lasting organic foundation on the RealSTEEL website
  • Provide a new strategy using a more sophisticated approach, applying on and offsite SEO tactics to drive qualified traffic
  • Integrate content from the Wolcott website to the RealSTEEL website for improved SEO traffic and inbound leads
  • Increase traffic and leads through optimized content generation and posts

Results:

  • Organic traffic up 380%
  • Page views up 493%
  • Session duration up 102%
  • Went from 2 keywords in top 10 to 13 in top 10 TOP
  • Went from 2 keywords in top 20 to 20 TOP keywords in top 20
  • Developed 17 new ERP leads
